The Neurometer® CPT® evaluation provides the anesthesiologist with an objective means to quantify the efficacy of an anesthetic therapeutic intervention resulting from a peripheral nerve block or the spinal or epidural administration of an anesthetic agent. The procedure is ideal for pain medicine diagnostic and pain management. Post-operatively, the CPT® evaluation can be used to confirm recovery of sensory functioning in such patients as well. The CPT® evaluation is also utilized for pre and post-op screening of peri-operative peripheral nerve injuries like ulnar neuropathy that can result from cubital tunnel compression while under anesthesia
